Internship news
So i found out a little less then a month ago that i did get one of six spots as an intern at WCU. This news is very fantastic. In my life i have felt like i have been let down several times... well when it comes to school! I can't complain too much because i did get into nursing school, i just didn't stay in nursing school. i really do feel that God makes things happen in life for a reason. I know that getting one of the internship spots is what was supposed to happen in my life. I cannot wait to see what else God has in store for me, especially when i start looking for jobs and helping people in my community. Life is great right now!

Puppy Love
Well, i must say that having a new puppy is no peice of cake! Crying at all hours of the night seems to be a common thing these last few days. Trey and I, well mostly just me... got Kimber on 2/21/09 from the Walmart parking lot! haha! I know what your thinking... what kind of dog comes from the Walmart parking lot? Well, Kimber is a lab-hound mix. She is more lab then hound i would say. She is black with small spots of white on her chest and back two paws. When i brought her home on Saturday I was super happy, i was just hoping that Browning our 1 year old lab-husky mix would love her! Browning is the happiest dog in the whole world, and if you have ever met her you would know that! Browing and Kimber got along great... playing and loving on each other. Knowing that Browing loved Kimber gave me relief. I knew that Trey and I could keep Kimber and make her the newest member of our small family. Some days i wonder if i made the right choice in bringing home another dog though. Browining is still a puppy herself, and i hate to take attention away from her because she is of course our very first dog. We love Browning very much!! I guess my thought process was that Browning could have a friend and i would rather train a new puppy now (before we think about having kids). We will see how things play out in the next few weeks i guess!!
